The Education Service Contracting (ESC) is a government assistance program that provides tuition subsidy to qualified incoming Grade 7 students who enroll in private schools.
  • Amount of subsidy: PHP 9,000 per year (Region VI)

Incoming Grade 7 students from public and private schools are automatically qualified.

The school will assist parents in filling out the ESC application form.

The SHS Voucher Program is a financial assistance program of DepEd that helps Grade 10 completers from public and private schools continue their SHS education in private schools.
  • Voucher Amount for Incoming Grade 11 students from Public School: PHP 17,500 per year
  • Voucher Amount for Incoming Grade 11 students from Private School with ESC certificate: PHP 14,000 per year

  • Grade 10 completers from public JHS: automatically qualified
  • Grade 10 completers from private JHS (ESC grantees): automatically qualified
  • Non-ESC Grade 10 completers from private JHS: must apply online via the DepEd’s OVAP portal

Qualified students must submit the necessary documents during enrollment. The school will then encode and verify details through DepEd’s voucher system.

Only incoming Grade 7 students from both public and private schools can avail the ESC.

Yes, if the student is also an ESC recipient from his/her previous school, he/she can still avail the ESC.
